Sit-N-Go Mechanics
Sit-N-Go tournaments are fast-paced events with no predetermined start time. Every player begins with the same number of chips, and rebuys are not allowed. Blinds increase continuously, and the tournament lasts until only one player remains.
Players must monitor blinds closely, plan strategic bets, and avoid forced all-ins. The final two players are paid: first place receives 50% of the prize pool, and second place receives 30%.
Participation and Strategy
Players can join Sit-N-Go tables as soon as they fill up, and leaving before the tournament begins returns the buy-in. Leaving mid-tournament forfeits the buy-in. Points are awarded only for Rank 1 and Rank 2 placements.
Sit-N-Go rewards quick strategic thinking, aggressive play, and understanding of blind structures. Using hand knowledge and reading opponents is crucial for success in this tournament type.
